To fully explore all the color and majesty of Telluride’s San Juan Mountains, you may need wheels, two actually. Telluride Sports rents Mountain Bikes in both Telluride and Mountain Village, at each end of the FREE gondola. With 6 new trails built last summer, the Telluride Bike Park is a playground of single track that is lift accessible, and Free. More trials are on the way this summer too.
If you just want to cruise town and soak up the summer scenery, get yourself a Hybrid Cruiser. It can jump seamlessly from pavement to gravel to truly experience that the nooks and/or crannies Telluride has to offer. Pop the kids on the back with a tag along or a kid carrier, and you’re off!
